Nova City has received approval as a housing scheme due to its acquisition of an NOC for 970 kanals of land from the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA), a government agency formed under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program. The Tehsil Municipal Administration has already granted planning permission for Nova City, and NOCs from Civil Aviation, WASA, IESCO, and SNGPL have also been obtained.
